Characters: Crime and Punishment 's good...and ugly.

Crime and Punishment

Fyodor Dostoevsky, 1867
Famous for: Very little crime but a whole lotta punishment.

In Crime and Punishment, you spend so much time inside main character Raskolnikov’s head, that it’s easy to forget that there are a bunch of characters in this story who are actually really good, decent people … and several who are even more repellent than Raskolnikov.
