Even the setting for The Miracle Stealer is kind of a giveaway: Paradise, PA, where miracles really do happen. At least, so the townsfolk in teenage Andi Grant’s fervently faithful town would like to believe. Andi might like to believe, too, but she’s got one gigantic hang-up: the miracle worker himself. Also known as: her little brother. In this intriguing faith-based drama, the action picks up when Andi decides that saving 6-year-old Daniel is up to her—and that salvation is worth whatever the risks, to her and to her blessed brother. It’s a naïve teenage calculation to be sure, and one that will require a bona fide miracle if Andi and Daniel don’t want to end up dead.
