As though Jill MacSweeny’s life wasn’t horrible enough after the death of her father, her mother has just broken the news that Project: Replace Dad is well underway. At least, that’s how Jill sees it. Her mom’s plan? Adopt a baby from Mandy, a teenage mother. But it seems to Jill as though Mandy’s baby isn’t the only one looking for a home.
As Mandy inveigles her way into the MacSweenys’ lives—and, eventually, their hearts—Jill discovers that there may just be enough grace left in this world to save all of them.
