Blink is on the run—on the run from an abusive stepfather and a mother beaten into submission. Caution is on the run—on the run from a horrible accident, and then on the run from the drug dealer who would keep her in bondage. Their paths collide in an explosive plot filled with corporate skullduggery and cover-ups, a desperate daughter searching for her kidnapped father, and a road to nowhere that may just be the last road Blink and Caution ever travel. Perhaps the best part of Blink & Caution, though, is the way author Tim Wynne-Jones explores and develops his characters. Blink and Caution are damaged goods, to be sure, but their fast-paced, suspenseful journey also won’t leave them where it found them.
